Butterscotch Truffles Recipe

  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz pkg)
  • 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 package butterscotch morsels, finely chopped (11 ounce pkg)
  • 1 package toffee bits (8 ounce pkg)
In medium bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar at medium speed with mixer until smooth. Add butterscotch morsels, beating until combined. Cover, and chill for at least 2 hours. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls. In shallow dish, place toffee bits. Roll balls in toffee bits. Place in miniature paper or foil muffin cups, if desired. Store in refrigerator. (To easily chop butterscotch morsels, use food processor and pulse morsels a couple times until chopped).
