In large sauce pan with a cover, over medium heat, combine oil, garlic, onion, cocoa, cinnamon, red pepper, cloves and black pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes.
Add almond butter and melt into other ingredients.
Add tomatoes, broth, salt and bread. Bring to simmer.
Add chicken and return to simmer.
Cover and cook 12-15 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
Serve over pasta or side rice.
