Ingredients
8 ounces flour
1 level teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 level teaspoon baking soda
pinch salt
2 ounces butter or margarine
1/4 pint whole milk
1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
2 ounces grated cheese
Directions
Sift flour, raising agent, salt and dry mustard into a bowl. Mix in the butter, then add the grated cheese. Mix to a soft dough with the milk. Roll out 1/2" thick, cut into rounds, arrange on cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes at 420°. When cool, split and butter each half or use as a platform for other "savouries".
