Beef and Bean Bake 4 Recipe

  • 3 slices Bacon
  • 1/2 pound ground round
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 can lima beans (drained) (15 ounce can)
  • 1 can pork and beans (undrained) (15 ounce can)
  • 1 can kidney beans (drained) (15 ounce can)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
Cook bacon until crisp. Crumble and set aside. Cook beef and onion in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat until meat is brown. Stir while cooking to crumble the meat. Place meat, bacon, lima beans, and next 6 ingredients into a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker. Stir well. Cook for 1 hour on high setting. Reduce heat to low setting and cook for 3 to 4 hours.
