Hush Puppies 54 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons b. powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon b. soda
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 3/4 cup creamed corn
  • cooking oil for frying
Directions
In a bowl combine dry ingredients, then add the last 3 ingredients and stir until mixed. In a deep fat fryer, heat oil to 375° drop batter by teaspoons into oil. Fry until golden brown. Allow to cool.
