Classic Green Bean Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10 3/4 ounce can)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cans green beans, drained (14 1/2 ounce cans)
  • 1 can french-fried onions, divided (2.8 ounce can)
Container:1 1/2 quart casserole

Combine soup, milk and pepper in a 1 1/2 quart casserole; mix well.

Stir in beans and 2/3 cup French-fried onions.

Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until hot.

Gently stir. Sprinkle with remaining 2/3 cup onions.

Bake 5 minutes more or until onions are golden.

**VARIATION: For a quick and easy main dish, add 2 cups diced cooked chicken or turkey.
