Classic Waldorf Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups tart apples, diced
  • 1 cup celery, julienned
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, broken
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
Directions
Sprinkle apples with sugar, lemon juice and salt. Add celery and nuts. Fold mayonnaise into whipped cream. Gently fold into apple mixture. Chill and serve in a lettuce lined bowl. Serves 6.
