Italian Roast Beef 4 Recipe

  • 6 pounds rump roast
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 package Lipton onion soup mix
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons basil
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
Pour water over roast. Sprinkle spices over meat. Bake at 350° for 4 hours, covered. Cool, slice, return to broth. Put in crock pot on low. Great served on hoogie buns with pepperjack cheese.
