Pork Tenderloin with Gravy Recipe

  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Pork tenderloin (3/4 lb cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 pound fresh sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 onion, sliced (medium)
In a small bowl, combine first 5 ingredients until blended. In a large skillet, brown pork in oil on all sides. Stir in gravy mixture, mushrooms, and onion. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until meat juices run clear and vegetables are tender. Serve over rice or garlic mashed potatoes.
