Roasted Chicken Drumettes Recipe

  • 24 drumettes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Rinse and dry chicken drumettes. Stir oil and next 4 ingredients in large bowl. Add chicken, tossing to coat. Arrange chicken in a single layer on a wire rack in an aluminum foil lined cookie sheet. Bake at 450° for 30 to 35 minutes. Combine mustard, lemon juice and oregano in large bowl. Remove pan from oven and add hot chicken to mustard mixture. Toss to coat. Drain and discard any accumulated fat from pan. Place mustard coated chicken back on rack and bake 8 to 10 minutes more at 450°. Serves 8 (24 pieces)
