Peppered Beef Brisket Recipe

  • 1/4 cup coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 brisket 4 pounds
  • Marinade
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Put meat on a sheet of waxed paper and sprinkle pepper on very thick. With the heel of the hand, press the pepper into the brisket. Turn and repeat on all sides. Pierce the meat. Mix marinade in a large zip lock bag. Place meat inside bag and marinate overnight, turn occasionally. Cook on the grill or smoker.
