Stromboli 20 Recipe

  • 1 package 2 loaves) Rhodes white frozen bread dough
  • 1 pound mild Italian sausage
  • 1/2 pound hamburger
  • 1 package pepperoni
  • 12 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • garlic salt and pepper to taste
Brown sausage and hamburger, adding garlic salt and pepper to taste. Let frozen dough thaw until paliable (about 2 hrs), one loaf for each stomboli. On a floured board, roll dough out to a 9x6 in rectangle. Cover dough with layers of hamburger, sausage, pepperoni and cheese. Roll up dough and lightly pinch ends. Place rolls on lightely greased baking dish. Brush with egg and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 min or until golden brown. Serve sliced like bread with your favorite spaghetti sauce.
