Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup long grain rice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 can tomato sauce (large can)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

In a bowl, combine first seven ingredients. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 1" balls.

In a large skillet, brown meatballs in oil; Drain.

Combine last four ingredients and pour over meatballs. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45-60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
