- Cut out the stem and core from the tomato; then cut the tomato in half, slicing it crosswise. Do not cut lengthwise.
- Using a teaspoon, carefully remove seeds from each cavity of the tomato or gently squeeze the tomato to remove the seeds.
- Remove the seeds from both halves of the tomato and discard the seeds when finished.
