A hybrid variety of aromatic rice that is a cross between Thailand's jasmine rice and India's basmati rice. It has been developed from a variety of rice known as Della that is related to Bertone rice from Italy, to be grown in the warm climates of the southern U.S. This rice is soft textured with a mild rice flavor.
