Chili Beef Soup

"was searching! make my own beefstock using grass fed bones. Cook my beans from dry. Made this but used actual onion and garlic and the spices I looked up that are in onion soup mix. Also didn't have brown sugar and used regular white sugar and I added approx 1 tblsp of plain cocoa. I added a few oz of tomato paste and used a 15 oz can tomato sauce. I used 1/2 grass fed gr beef and 1/2 grass fed gr buffalo for the 2 lbs ground beef. I added ghee (clarified butter) to that along w the onion garlic and some of the spices as it was browning, before putting it all in with the beans and stock (broth). So, I never follow any recipe exactly, but this one worked beautifully for my needs. Delicious, hearty soup."
