Golden Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • CRUST
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • FILLING
  • 7 apples - Golden Delicious
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 6 tablespoons butter
Directions
CRUST:
  • Sift dry ingredients together.
  • Make a well. Add oil and water. Mix with a fork.
  • This is enough for top and bottom crust.
FILLING:
  • Peel apples and slice thin.
  • Put apples directly in pie plate on top of bottom crust.
  • Sprinkle sugar on top of apples.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon on top of sugar.
  • Put slices of butter on top.
  • Add top pie crust. Using a fork, poke hole on top (all over) to prevent air bubbles.
  • Bake in a 350° F oven for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown.
