  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 ounce bacon bits
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 49 ounces chicken broth
  • 15 ounces diced Italian tomatoes
  • 12 ounces fresh spinach
  • 1 package Tortellini
Container:Soup pot or Dutch oven

  • Sauté onion, garlic, bacon bits, and Italian seasoning in olive oil.
  • Add chicken broth and tomatoes. Bring to a boil.
  • After the chicken broth and tomatoes are boiling add tortellini and spinach.
  • Heat thoroughly and serve.
