Apple Butter Spice Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup apple butter
Directions
Combine first 5 ingredients, set aside. Combine sugar and shortening, creaming until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and stir in apple butter. Add dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes. Yield: 8 dozen.
