Ingredients
1/2 cup warm water
2 packages yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 cups warm milk
1/4 cup crisco
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 beaten eggs.
7 cups flour
Directions
Dissolve yeast in warm water and add tsp. of sugar. While the milk is warming in small saucepan, add Crisco. In large mixing bowl, combine 1/2 C. sugar, salt, and eggs. When the Crisco has melted, add milk and Crisco to the large mixing bowl. Beat. Add some of the flour and the bowl of yeast to the large bowl. Add enough flour to make the right consistency to knead on a floured surface. Then grease a large bowl and put the dough in to rise (cover with a towel). When it has raised double in size, punch down and start making the rolls. Place in pans that are greased. Bake in a 350° oven for 15 minutes or when they have a nice tan.
