Chicago Spinach Dip 10 Recipe

  • 1 box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 loaf Italian bread round
In a large mixing bowl, combine spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped green onions, dried parsley, lemon juice and seasoning salt. Mix until well blended. Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Cut a circle out of the top of the bread and scoop out the inside. Tear the removed bread into pieces. Spoon the dip into the center of the bread bowl. Serve with the torn pieces of bread for dipping. Encourage guests to eat the bread bowl, as well.
