Ingredients
1 pound dry scallops (aka "Diver" or "Dayboat")
1/2 stick butter
1/4 Granny Smith apple, finely slivered
Salt and pepper
1 teaspoon Balsamic vinegar (optional)
Directions
Melt butter in a large frying pan. Wash scallops and pat dry. Salt and pepper both sides of scallops. Place in frying pan and cook on both sides 3 - 5 minutes per side. (Note: if your scallops are "wet", they will not brown). Plate 3 - 4 scallops per person and garnish with spple slivers. Drizzle with Balsamic vinegar (optional).
