Whole Wheat Pasta with Sardine Sauce Recipe

  • 2 cans sardines
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons white wine or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • parsley for garnish
Prepare any whole wheat pasta as directed on box.

Sauté garlic in oil, add and break up sardines then add remaining ingredients.

Cook for 5 minutes to blend flavors

Serve over pasta.
