Autumn Gold Apple Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 package lemon (or apple) Jello (3 ounce pkg)
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups diced, Golden Delicious apples
  • 2 cups Cool Whip
Directions
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add lemon juice, salt, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Beat with mixer until smooth. Chill until slightly thickened. fold in cheese, apples, and whipped cream. Spoon into wet mold (or tube pan). Chill until firm.
