Ham Delight Sandwiches Recipe

As an appetizer or a sandwich next to your soup, these are tasty little morsels of ham and cheese. Warmed up in the oven, with the bread a little crisp on the ouside, these will be a huge hit for a crowd.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound boiled ham, chopped fine
  • 5 ounces Swiss cheese, chopped fine
  • 1 stick margarine, softened
  • 3 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 3 teaspoons Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped fine (or 2 T. minced onion)
  • 3 packages dinner rolls (20 small rolls per pkg)

Mix all ingredients together except bread. If you like it a finer texture, use your food processor to chop the ingredients.

Cut rolls in half. Spread filling on one half. Put back in pan. Top with top half of roll.

Cover with foil and heat until mixture is melted, about 25 minutes at 350°.

"The kids really liked these, especially when the filling got a little crispy. I think next time I will make them open faced and broil them. I used Hawaiian rolls and only made 1/3 of the recipe."
