Baked Turkey Ham Recipe

  • 40 pounds turkey ham
  • 2 quarts liquid- ham broth and water
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 pound butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 pints ginger ale
Slice meat 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick and set aside. Thicken broth mixture with flour. In another saucepan, melt butter and continue cooking till lightly browned. Add browned butter and brown sugar to thickened broth. Simmer 10 minutes, then add ginger ale. Pour mixture over ham and bake 1 1/2-2 hours in slow oven.
