| | Directions | | To make cake combine dry ingredients. Mix butter, egg and buttermilk together and add to flour mixture. Spread half of the batter in a 9x9 baking pan. Sprinkle half of the filling on top of the batter. Spoon remaining batter on top of filling and cover with rest of brown sugar topping. Bake 350° 25-30 min. This cake is best when eaten the day it is made. |
