| Directions |
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Place sausage in 9x13-inch pan; cover the sausage halfway with water. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Place peppers and onions in another 9x13-inch pan; cover halfway with water. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Combine peppers and onions into sausage pan, reduce water to have sausages covered about 1/3 of the way.
- Bake uncovered for 1 hour.
- Strain water.
- Serve on Italian bread.
