- In a large bowl, slice cucumbers and onions.
- In a medium sauce pan, combine vinegar, sugar, and spices; bring the mixture to a boil, and allow to boil for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, allow to cool, and then pour over cucumbers and onions.
- Cover and refrigerate. The pickles are best if refrigerated for 1 to 2 days before eating.
