| | Directions | | Cook noodles till tender in boiling salt water; drain and rinse with cold water. Melt butter in skillet; add meat. Cook and stir until meat has lost it's red color. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce. Simmer gently 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, chopped onion and noodles. Alternate layers of noodles and meat mixture in a 2 quart buttered casserole. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350 about 30 minutes until top is browned. Serves 6-8. |
