Brown ground beef in skillet over medium heat; drain off the fat.

In a large pot, combine the beef plus all the remaining ingredients, and bring to a simmer over low heat.

Cook, stirring every 15 minutes, for 2-3 hours.

-1 can kidney beans, undrained (14 1/2 ounce can)
-1 can pinto beans, undrained (14 1/2 ounce can)
-1/2 cup onion, diced
-1/4 cup green chilies, diced
-1/4 cup celery, diced
-2 tomatoes, chopped
-1 teaspoon cumin
-2 tablespoons chili powder
-1 teaspoon black pepper
-2 teaspoons salt
-1 cup water
