| Directions | In a large pan, place potatoes, onion, celery, salt & pepper in enough water to cover. Cook until tender. Do not drain. (Most of the water should be absorbed while cooking). Add milk, butter, and cornstarch. Bring back to a boil, stirring all the while. Boil slowly until thickened. Serve with shredded cheese, if desired |
