Wheatgrass

A plant sprout grown from the seeds of wheat harvested early in the growth of the seed, just after the sprout reaches maturity but while it is still very young. Considered to be beneficial for a variety of nutrients, Wheatgrass is often sought for its chlorophyll content and the significant amount of vitamin K it contains as well as the additional amounts of enzymes, minerals, and amino acids within the sprouts.
