"I cooked buckwheat a while back using a method similar to method one and it turned out mushy. I didn't add the egg though. I have some left in the cupboard and I am going to try it again using an egg. Thanks for the suggestion."
"My husband went salmon fishing for the first time and now we have salmon in the freezer. We want to grill it and found some recipes on this site that look good. Then we found this related info on grilling salmon that has been really helpful, especially since this will be the first attempt at grilling salmon. Thanks for the info."
"I have always wanted to try lentils but don't know much about them. This article was very helpful. I think I will try them in a soup. I found several recipes on this site for soup calling for lentils so I might give one of them a try."
"I make a lot of cream pies so I am blind baking pie crusts often. I do have trouble with it bubbling up on the bottom. I have never tried pie weights but it looks like they might help the bubbling so I think I will try them on the next pie I make."
"Interesting, I have never cooked or tried Dry-Cured Country Ham. I wouldn't have known boiling was preferred method for preparing it. Good information. Very informative."
"I used this information last year to cook our Thanksgiving turkey. It turned out great and freed up my oven for other things. The only thing was that the skin didn't brown like I would like it and I didn't have time to stick it in the oven to brown it. Oh well, the meat was still great. I will probably use my electric roaster again this year."

Comment: My husband and I have cooked several turkeys but we have never tried using a cooking bag. We might try that this year and see if it actually cuts down on the cooking time.
"I fixed a top loin roast for supper last night. It was a 5 lb. roast and I cooked it at 325 degrees F. for 1 1/2 hours as shown on the chart. It turned out great! Juicy and done just the way we like it. Thanks for the cooking info!"
"We had never cooked a brisket before and had gotten one to try but didn't know how long to cook or temps to cook at. Googled "brisket cooking times" and found this helpful chart. We had an 8 lb. brisket and used a cooking bag. Baked it for 3 hours at 325 degrees. It was perfect, very tender and delicious."
