Holiday Eggnog Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups eggnog
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 each chopped nuts and candied fruit (3/4 cup each)
Directions
Sift dry ingredients together. Mix eggnog, egg and butter together, add to dry ingredients. Add nuts and fruit. Bake in greased loaf pan at 350°, 60-70 minutes or until done. Cool. Remove from pan. Let stand overnight before slicing.
