  • 1 baked pie crust (9 inch )
  • 1 quart fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry gelatin (powder)
  • whipped topping
Container:9-inch pie plate
Directions

  • Clean and hull strawberries. Cut berries in half or quarters.
  • Fill a baked pie crust with the strawberries.
  • Combine sugar, cornstarch, and water in a small saucepan. Cook until thick & clear.
  • Add the strawberry gelatin powder & mix well. Cool slightly & pour over berries. Refrigerate until sauce sets up, approximately 2 to 3 hours.
  • Serve with whipped topping.
