Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
  • 1 package McCormick® Chili Seasoning Mix, Original
  • 2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce or 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (15 to 16 ounces) kidney or pinto beans, undrained

1. Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat.

2. Stir in Seasoning Mix, tomato sauce and beans. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with assorted toppings, such as shredded cheese, chopped onions or sour cream, if desired.P>Test Kitchen Tips:

  • Serve chili as a topping for rice, baked potatoes, hot dogs or fries.

 

  • Try with McCormick® Mild Chili Seasoning Mix for less spicy chili. To reduce sodium, use with McCormick® 30% Less Sodium Chili Seasoning Mix.

 

Blazin Hot Chili: Use McCormick® Hot Chili Seasoning Mix. Add 1 teaspoon McCormick® Crushed Red Pepper or 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Red Pepper or 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped, with the beans.
