The crunchy outside of these pork chops is seasoned perfectly. Don't overcook so the inside stays moist and tender. Serve with mashed potatoes and a green vegetable for a meal fit to entertain with.

  • 1 cup buttery crackers, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs - beaten
  • 4 pork chops
  • 1/4 cup butter

  • Preheat oven to 375° F.
  • In a shallow bowl, beat eggs.
  • In a separate shallow bowl, combine crushed crackers, garlic salt and pepper; mix well.
  • Dip each pork chop in the egg and then in the cracker mixture. Place the pork chops in a casserole dish. Place chunks of the butter on top of each pork chop.
  • Cover and bake for 40 minutes, turning halfway through. Uncover and bake for 5 more minutes so the coating gets crunchy.
