Butterscotch Fudge 2 Recipe

  • 2 cups finely shopped walnuts
  • 1 jar marshmallow cream (7 ounce jar)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package 2 cups) butterscotch flavored morsels (12 ounce package)
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
Foil-line 8-inch square pan. Spread 1 cup walnuts evenly on bottom of pan; set aside. In heavy gauge saucepan, combine marshmallow cream, sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt. Bring to full rolling boil over meduium heat, stirring constantly. remove from heat. Add butterscotch chips; stir until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in orange extract and orange rind. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining walnuts on top. Chill until firm (about 2 hours.)
