MICROWAVE MONKEY BREAD Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tube refrigerator biscuits (8 ounce tube)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup chopped nuts, coconuts, raisins if desired.
Directions
Place butter in the bottom of a microwave safe tubed dish. Microwave on high for 45 seconds or until melted. Mix in the brown sugar and milk. Microwave for another minute on high or until mixture is bubbly. If desired, add no more than 1/3 of one or a combination of chopped nuts, coconuts or raisins. Cut each section of the biscuits into fourths and layer on top of brown sugar mixture. Sprinkle top with the sugar and cinnamon.

Microwave on medium high for 3 1/2 minutes or until no longer doughy at the center and springs back to the touch. Top may still be moist, but will finish cooking with standing time. The dough WILL NOT brown when cooking in the microwave. Cool 2 minutes, invert. Serve warm.
