Ingredients
2 packages crescent rolls
2 packages cream cheese (8 oz pkg)
1 egg
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Butter a 9 x 12 pan. Press 1 package of crescent roll dough into the bottom of the pan. Beat together the cream cheese, egg yolk, 1 cup sugar and vanilla. Spread this over the first layer of dough in the pan. Layer the second pkg. of crescent roll dough on top. Beat the egg white until foamy. brush over the top. Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over this. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes. Yield 24 bars.
