  • 1 1/3 cups pitted dates
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa

Blend all the ingredients, using a food processor.

Roll into little balls. Or, if you want true brownies, shape the dough into bars.
