CRANBERRY SALAD 166 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (20 ounce can)
  • 1 package fresh cranberries, ground
  • 1 1/2 cups HOT water
  • 2 packages cranberry jello
  • 1 cup cold water and/or pineapple juice
  • 1 package Knox gelatin
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
Directions
Drain pineapple and reserve juice. Grind fresh cranberries in food processor. If ground in blender, drain. Mix hot water with jello. Add pineapple juice plus cold water to equal 1 cup. Add Knox gelatin, sugar, crushed pineapple, cranberries, apples, and pecans. Mix well and pour into 9 X 12 dish and refrigerate.
