Oven Barbeque Steak Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds steak
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced (large)
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 3/4 cup water
Directions
Trim fat off meat and brown in oil; put in a roaster or pan with cover. Brown onion slightly in drippings; add rest of ingredients and simmer 5 minutes. Pour over meat and cover; bake at 300° for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
