Rich Gravy Stew Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 pounds Round Steak (stew meet)
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons shortening (olive oil)
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1/2 package baby carrots
Directions
Brown floured meat in oil over med heat. When meat is close to being browned add onion soup mix continue to brown. Add soup mix, water, potatoes and carrots. Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours
