A small native fruit that is common to the bush country of Australia. Like many of the bush produce from the Australian region, this fruit is small and grown on bushes that can be found in a variety of country areas. Round and pear-like in shape, the Riberry begins as a green fruit that ripens from a light pink color to a dark cranberry red when fully mature. With a flavor that is spicy and tastes somewhat like clove, this fruit can be used as an ingredient for sauces and relishes for meats or as fruit that is added to desserts such as ice-cream, candies and baked goods.
