| Directions | Brown spare ribs in a small amount of canola oil. Rinse and drain sauerkraut. In a greased 4 qt. roasting pan, place half of the ribs. Cover with half of the sauerkraut. Sprinkle 1 1/2 T. brown sugar over sauerkraut. Repeat layers and sprinkle top with remaining brown sugar. Bake at 350° for l hour and 15 minutes. This may also be prepared in a 5 qt. crock pot, cook on high for 2 l/2 to 3 hours. |
