| | Directions | | In 2 T. oil, sauté onion, celery & carrot til almost tender. Remove & set aside. In same skillet, brown seasoned ground beef; drain off fat. Add the sautéed vegetables. Stir in sauce & brown sugar. Cover & simmer on low about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, cook rotini or your favorite pasta according to directions on box (I like to add some garlic powder and a beef bouillon cube to the water). Drain pasta and add to the sauce mixture. Toss all together. May top with grated or shredded cheese and serve hot. For a fast, easy meal, serve with corn on the cob or steamed vegetables. |
