| Directions | Have meatman grind steak and pork together, very fine. Soak bread crumbs in milk and combine with meat. Mix in egg, onion, salt, sugar and spices; blend and knead mixture thoroughly. Shape into small balls. Brown in butter; shake skillet to turn balls and brown evenly. Blend the butter and flour to make a gravy; adding the milk and potato water to make a medium gravy. Return meatballs to the gravy. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes. |
