| | Directions | | In a large kettle, cover ribs with cold water, bring to a boil, simmer for 15-20 minutes. Drain, rinse and place in a roasting pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Pour off fat; cover ribs with drained pineapple, bake 15 minutes more. In a saucepan, combine reserved pineapple juice, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar and cornstarch, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till thick and clear. Pour over ribs, bake 15 minutes more. Serves 8. |
